Once again the Marian Fillies dominated the Schuylkill County League with a perfect 17-0 record. Pine Grove, a traditional rival for the league crown, fell before the championship squad of Coach Elsie Tolan by a 57-43 score. Selfless dedication to their goals, strength- ened by expert coaching, has established the Marian girls as a powerful force in local bas- ketball.
