spark fan part1c1pat1on The spirit of Marian dominated all sports events as the cheerleaders enlivened a united Colt Country. Moderated by Sister Nicola Marie, the Varsity and IV co-cap- tains, Gina Tomsho, Sharon McCullian, Nina Dominic and Dottie Bruzgo, moti- vated the girls to develop new cheers and routines. Throughout the entire year the spirit-makers sparked the fans and the teams and shared with them the agony of defeat as well as the joy of victory. One of the many faces who are a part of Marian spirit, Rosie McGinley leads the fans in cheering the Colts to victory. A familiar sight at all of the Marian sports activities, the Colt mascot, Ioe Dvorak, symbolizes the unique spirit of Marian. V F I.V.
