HOMECOMING 19 2 Trish Bayer elected Queen The senior members of the football team cast their votes for Homecoming Queen prior to the Pius X game and nominated Trish Bayer to pre- side over the festivities. With the announcement of the new Queen, the court and the fans, although numb from the cold, broke in to warm applause signalling their approval of the team's choice. Father Sacks crowned Trish and the cere- monies concluded with the Court making one more circuit of the stadium. The Marian Marching Unit enhanced the half-time program with a spe- cially prepared show featuring songs and dances of the Roaring Twenties. Trish Bayer, escorted by tri-captain Dave Marouchoc, occupies the Marian spotlight as Queen of the 1972 Home- coming ceremonies. rf YM ir'-pa 9 If M T 4... , :Zig 'iii'-, f Q -'sldj' at . , ral- - - 'J ,-.f ' fr
