U55 efclmmaafmfaon Mr. jack Appel continues his busy schedule of rep- resenting Marian at innumerable outside meetings as well as attending to his business here on campus, Although not as readily visible to students as other faculty members, he has often been mentioned in the news in connection with some controversial matters. His main purpose, however, has been consistent: to uphold Marian's pride and dignity. 135 v i - K if i . ,s-, Q QS K '-Mt, is Miss Karen Chudy, Mr. Appel's secretary, attends to many duties throughout her day. lf not at her own desk typing, answering questions, or taking care of faculty business matters, she is usually seen helping out in the front office. me ,tss mm-r A 'XA-....,,-b 4- i Mrs. Maria Tollefson accomplishes so many tasks here at Marian that it would be impossible to list them all. She is academic vice-principal, moderator of CSF and NHS, and, as in years past, has done a mar- velous job of organizing both faculty and students. One of her new responsibilities this year is that of ASB moderator, and she is shown at work in that capacity here. ofa. Cszaff Mrs. Rosie Viscontti Cnot picturedb is our school treasurer and accountant. She keeps track of all the financial ins and outs of the entire establishment - definitely not an enviable job, but one that she tack- les head-on. Mr. jerry judge - JTR - has continued to uphold high standards of discipline and academics in his role as viceaprincipal. The excellent job he does is eviden- ced by the respect he is shown on campus. His is also the announcer's voice at most home games, and he is very active in the Boosters' activities. Mrs. Rose Cisneros, everyone's mother figure in the front office, must handle 500 small but vital mat- ters in the course of a school dayg everything from keeping attendance records to handing out safety pins or paper clips to needy students and faculty.
