The girls began the season with high hores under the coachlng of Cnarles Han y Larrabee was the foe for the openlng game of the season Tnis game, a ere tte following two games, was sraky and the girls needed more conlidence and teamwork on the floor The team showed continous lmprovement from the Quimby game to the end of tra season The Larcus girls outplaved Quimby but lost in tHE flnal minutes hh M8 I that game the girls ga ned a very important part of any game teamwork The season pro ressed and then came the Cherokee Valley Conference Fournamert The larcus girls defeated Pierson in the first round by a decislon score of oO 36 washta was the next opponent in the way to the finals Marcus was outplayed and lost M9 57, but would play Quimby in the season play, the girls went into the ga e with confidence and care out the victor by a score of S5 39 The last regular scheduled game of the season Marcus defeated Larrabee which gave them renewed confidence for the sectional tournament Remsen was tke opponent for the much improved Marcus girls in the flrst round of play This was a close game right down to the final seconds of the game with Remsen winning e2 CO That game ended the season for the Narcus girls with a record of 6 wins out of l3 regular season games and 2 wins out of h tournamert games with the exceptlon of Carolyn Ju l, forward, the entire squad will be back next year looking forward to a season of mary victories Sr nso 1 x natwrlun N ' ' ' 'e .
