'Father Knows Best was a new comedy based on the show made famous on radio and television by Robert Young It was a fresh and original comedy about the light hearted aspects of family life To open the play, Betty has a date with Ralph After Father reads a story in the paper about teen age elopement. he decides Betty must stay horse The whole family has planned to go out but Father says everyone must stay The results are not quite what he expects the Garden Club meets in the living room, basketball in the basement hide and seek all over and Betty and Ralph making love 'hue excitement and humorous complications grow. Then in the final scene Father discovers that, while he may know best. the young people nay know a little. too.
