Ronald Dorr Thirty eight students fresh frm the frosh ranks entered the sophomore class Ready and willing to begin the pros porous year of 55 56 they soon found it wasn't as easy and simple as the preced ing year Six subjects were offered to the sophs Everyone was required to take the world history and English courses Algebra. biolog home ec. and manual training were subjects of one's rhoice Sponsored by Dr n R Nelson Ronald Dorr secretary Donald Dorr treasurer Davi d Drefke vice-president Orl a n Ebert, president The first event in which sophomores partook was building a float for home coming A black cat chasing a mouse, with the slogan We Don't Pussytoot Around' vividly describing the scenes. prize moneywas a welcome sight for their treasury Freshman initiation was next on the program A hilarious evuzing of Jokes. pranks. and stunts made a eell-enjoyed program The freshmen returned the party by giving free passes te sophomores for the movie 'lever Too Yeung ' latch- ing the silly antics of Dean Hartie and Jerry lewis left everyone laughing After Christmas vacatin as llisa bethan Age euppex-was toasted upon lat- ing as people did in the days of Queen Elisabeth of England, food of the dd- centuries was delicately prepared W parents and the girls of the class and eaten very heartily 'Deo one act pl!!! were presented during the year The first.
