Marcia Bullock and the newly acquired Jebsen sisters Bernell Ebert joined our group also Paul Dorr and Beryl Coulson were added to the list on our third year of flight Sally Francks rejoined us this year This was the year we organized our police patrol under the supervisionof our new guide Miss Betty Ann McEnroe Every member on this patrol had their own private badge and patrolled the side walks of our airport On our fourth year of the tour Mrs Martha Dahlgren was our guide At this point Beryl Coulson got off at Storm Lake and Sally Francks at Sioux City Dur ing this year with Mrs Dahlgren, the passengers learned many new and interesting During our fifth year Miss Helen Eisle became our guide This year we acquired three new passengers Florence Harder, Arlene Schmillen. and Fred Nielson During the middle of the year James Kelsch parachuted out due to a tragedy in the family During the many events that happened this year, Sally Francks and Beryl Coulson rejoined us Next in store for the members of this passenger list was their sixth trip of their journey During the flight this year we received some more new passen gers They were Annette Dorr, Norma Seggerman Clarence Hohbach, Paul Johnson, Melvin Schlenger, Janet Miller, Colleen King and Ramona Reed With these eight new passengers comingin to go along on our flight, our passenger list grew some what larger Also during this trip, the airlines saw it fit to give us a new instructor whose name was Miss leone Wachtler Miss Wachtler was a very strict instructor, but I am sure all who were under her guiding hand fwith the help of a canoe paddle? seemed to learn a good deal Everyone thought that Miss Whchtler would againte the guide for the seventh year of the tour, but her sister in Sprlngfield, Illinois, suddenly became sick For the first time durlng the whole tour the passengers were placed under the guiding hand of a male instructor Mr Steve Roper Mr Roper left after one semester of guidance, and the reason for his leaving never seemed to be known The next instructor in line was a Mr Dale Moen. who shall never be forgotten in the history of the tour these passengers had The high spot of this year's jour ney was that no matter how hard the lnstructor seemed to try he couldn't seem to make the passengers understand the trip Mr Moen's assistant through this year was Miss Paula Schnef Miss Schnef's well known arithmetic problems which she gave to the passengers who had nothirg to do between stops, kept everyone rather busy Before this year ended we lost two of our newlv acquired passengers Col leen King and Ramona Reed Beverly Hargens and Eva Oden joined our happy little group the second half of the year Next year Miss Leone Wachtler again became our guide During the previous flight. we seemed to have gotten on the wrong course, but our guide, Miss Wacht ler, seemed to straighten it all out we received only one new passenger this year, who stayed for only the first part ofthe trip His name was Larry Bishop We shall pause a moment to state that our passengers on this flight have now reached the point in their tour which will be a complete change from the past as they journey through the last four years of their tour 1 : , , , .
