Melvin Schlenger, Eugene Ball On the twenty ninth day of August in the year 1955 one could find seventeen seniors. both girls and boys. mind you. getting ready for that list year or years at old MHS These people were quiet and orderlv comin: in because ofltheir many. many years in this fine institution and set a good example for almost everyone to follow THE FIRST DAY! The seniors chose their subjects and started on quite an eventful year The first thing t whlch they were invited was freshman initiation A few weeks later they planned and proceeded to a class party at Arlene Schmillen's home which turned out to be a real humdinger at which SNIPES were enjoyed by all During the football season the seniors spon sored the Homecoming ceremonies at which the senior came Chrlstmas vacation They came back and started the four-day school week Many things such as the junior senior one act play 'In the Shadows, vocation day'at Chero kee, senior class play 'Ghost Wanted.' skip day and so on took out a lot of txme CLASS MOTTO At last prom time and graduation came and those seventeen sweet. young scared individuals 0' fin1sh'd' Just begun trudged forth to face the world alone Norma Seggerman. secretary treasurer Paul Mayer, president John Dorr, vice president n IQ CLASS FLOWER Amerlcan Beauty Qose CLASS COLORS Red d White an Sponsored by Farmers State Bank O . , .
