“Sen br P opfzecy 'Time--7:U8 P. M. Me? I'm a doorman. Here I am, standing out in the snow on this cold January 20, 1970. Tonight there is a big banquet here at the Conrad Hilton Hotel in Chicago. It's a 15-year's reunion of the class of 1955 of Marcus High School in Marcus, Iowa. It's almost time for the guests to start arrlv --------- Oh, here comes Miss Natalie Bork. I understand she was the residing chairman at the annual convention of the National Lonely Hearts Club of America that was held in New York City last week. ' 'Even1ng, Miss Bork.' Real big shindig, I guess. 'Here comes a 'Dorr's Milk Truck! I'll have to send him around to the service entrance. Why ------ 1t's Wesley Gerlnger. I guess he has to drive that truck around now after all the money he lost on his last deal. He tried to sell milk to the people in France, but for some reason they preferred Mogan-David ' 'Even1ng, Sir ' 4 'This nextcar1s.probab1y thebiggest one I'll seetonight, a Cadillac with acarthis big it justhasto be thatfamousunderstudyofAudrey Meadows on the Jackie Gleason Show, Carol Walker ' 'Even1ng, Ma'am ' Man, that's the biggest tip I've gotten all night ' 'I see poor Janice Gates coming up the street It seems she learned so much when shewasin high school that she decidmitobecome the librarian in the Library of Congress I overheard her say she sees a certain Mr Harold L Hipple every now and then ln the Library ' 'Even1ng, Ma'am 'What in the world is this next thing coming up here?
