November brought our class play, 'Adam s Evening After nearly every rehearsal, four nights a week, we gathered in Lage's, had lunch, and gave Herman more gray hair After this we all jumped ln one car and terrorized the natives Next came our plans for the Junior senior Prom The entire group was permitted to go to Sioux City to pick out the things we needed for it This was the day our boys obtained their white sailor hats Then came the job of decorating for our prom This was really a wonderful time Ne were all very happy with the results of our Mardi Gras theme Seniors, Juniors, and under classmen enjoyed the whole even1ng's entertainment The rest of the year we spent day dreaming about what we w re going to do in the summer, however, away ln the back of our minds were thoughts of semester tests which we knew we could not escape The year was finished with a trip to Lake Okobojl Sponsored by Farmer's Co op Elevator 1 ! 7 . The year started August 30 with the same eleven enrolled as seniors The first week of school was highlighted by the Marcus Fair Homecoming was scheduled for Oct 15 and all attention was turned to that, it being our last year, we wanted an outstanding celebration Everything moved satisfactorily except that we were unfortunate and lost our game to Kingsley We gave our undivided attention to routine school work until the holiday season arrived and we seniors sponsored a high school Christmas party Everyone enjoyed himself, it seemed that the mistletoe was the center of attract1onfor'the evening Semester tests which required our con centratlon, came up right after Christmas vacation Then we were ableto coast until February whenwe started work on our year book, first under the supervision of Mrs Meehan and later, Mr Blsk This kept us 'on the jump In March we started casting for our senior class play, 'Yours Until Tomorrow', under the direction of Mrs Howard Johnson We are all looking forwardto the banquet and prom, which isto be held in April, andto the most important event in our high school days our graduation In Maywe shall say fare well to the teachers who guldedus with sympathy and understanding through our high school workand.soc1al activities and shall leave the halls of M H S forever to our underclassmen CLASS COLOR Silver A Blue CLASS MOTTO With the rope of the past we'll ring the bells of the future.
