Q-N' Unity prevailed at Marcos, bringing students and faculty from widely differ- ent backgrounds together as one. Ac- complishments of both students and teachers in and out of the classroom were widely recognized and celebrat- ed, creating a sense of pride in the en- tire school. One example could be found in the enthusiastic responses at athletic competitions as well as an over- all feeling of regret in any disappoint- ments. Many of these groups, as well as individual classes, combined efforts on such projects as the United Way campaign, working to- gether on projects which benefited not only the school, but also the communi- ty. These activities also brought people close together, allowing for the forma- tion of friendships that would last a life- time. ,, .. . 1?
