Students enthusiastically participated in many events. Wednesday was Pajama Day when students could come to school dressed in their night clothes. Long johns were the warmest of cos- tumes, but teddy bears were the ones closest to the heart. On Thursday, Hero Day, students were able to portray their childhood idols. Students and faculty dressed in everything from the Blues Brothers to kissing bandits. Also on Thursday night, the annual spirit bonfire was held, at which time seniors were auctioned off to the highest bidder to be a slave for the entire day and night on Friday. Friday found students wearing their Homecoming week T-shirts to show off their spirit and enthusiasm for the Homecoming game that night. All in all, the week was successful, filled with nu- merous unusual events.
