Sita Q On October 20, for the fourth year in a row, Marcos de Niza held an out-of- state college night. Dr. Bill Fitzgerald sponsored the event which was assisted by the National Honor Society. The purpose of this annual assembly is to give students an opportunity to learn about colleges located outside of Ari- zona. The event was not restricted to those students who attend Marcos. Students and parents from around the valley were encouraged to attend. Over fifty colleges and universities, from Adams State, to the United States Academies, to Williams Wood were re- presented. Registrars and admissions officers from colleges around the country attended. These representa- tives spent the evening answering seemingly-endless questions. Financial aid admissions, and campus curricular and co-curricular functions were some areas of particular interest. Although the event was open to members of all classes, mostly juniors and seniors attend. Eric Peterson, one of the many juniors there, said lt's a good way to get started planning for my future early. Travis Wright was also enthused, It had a lot of information about a lot of great colleges around the country. Top: Marcos de Niza counselors assist in answer- ing general questions.
