f nother Successful year for Staff of Padre Press The school newspaper the Pa , dr Press, puts out an issue of the newspa- 6 per each month. This year was a re- cord-breaking year for the Padre Press. The staffers published two sixteen- page papers, and they also had the first color issue in the school's history. Some members of the staff were able to attend a summer workshop at NAU, and they also participated in other var- ious journalism conventions through- out the year. The Padre Press enables the journalism students to learn the tactics for a professional journalism ca- reer, and it opens up a new door to a career field that they may not have in- vestigated otherwise. l really enjoyed working on the Padre Press, because it offered me numerous opportunities in the journalism field, said Donna Hale, Mr 4 a Co-editor-in-chief. Melinda Easton, also a co-editor-in-chief, said I really enjoyed working on the paper because it gave me a chance to work with some fantastic people.
