jROTC Gffers Gpportunities The jROTC, junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, finished its eighth year at Marcos de Niza. This organization prepared high school students for re- sponsible leadership roles and made them aware of the opportunities and benefits of citizenship. Clubs Display Cultural Interests Integrating foreign students into American society was the purpose of the International Club. Some of the countries represented in this club were japan, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. The officers were Nora Gierloff, presidentg Erika Mitnik, vice president, and Ami Stoklas, treasurer. The spon- sors were Ms. Walske and Mrs. Little. Ms. Walske stated, The club creates an opportunity for American students and foreign students to establish friendship. The jewish Student Union USUJ was a new addition to Marcos de Niza.
