ti lm T M l Q5 Mala, It is a Friday night at the football game. The crowd is cheering as the players take their positions after a touchdown. The awesome scoreboard is glowing in the dim light, revealing an everchanging outcome. As the team scores yet another touchdown, the crowd roars in excitement. This is the kind of spirit our school had at the football games last fall. In a successful attempt to have fun and pro- vide the players with encouragement, the students of Marcos de Niza High School displayed an abundance of en- thusiasm. The sale of Padre buttons, ribbons, and shirts also boosted school spirit. These popular items, sold throughout the year, showed students from our school and others just how spirited we really were. Numerous cheers also upheld school spirit. Students were heard yelling cheers such as P-P-P-A-D, R-R-R-E-S, P-A-D, R-E-S. PADRES go! and 1-2-3- 4-5, we don't take no jive, 6-7-8-9-10, back it up and do it again and even more descriptive of our school, We've got spirit yes we do, we've got spirit, how about you?!
