With such play- ers as Tim Langen Steve Bruner and Eric Larson the team expected to have a positive season. The successful season last year should provide a strong build- ing block commented junior joe Hu- guez. Teamwork is the key factor in base- a and this Varsity team drew its teamwork strength from seniors as well as juniors. When our team wins it s not because of an individual effort its because of our ability to work to- gether quoted Tim Langen. The Freshman Team relied a lot upon improvement on the players part not just the coaches. j.V. Bound Last year, the junior Varsity Girls Bas- ketball team had a 19-0 record. Coach Dawson expects to have difficulty with the teams from Mesa, Mt. View, McClintock, and Corona. All the play- ers were played on the team so they for success may move on to the Varsity level. At the beginning of the season, Coach Dawson looked forward to a good team depending on the development of the new players.
