4-15- GIRLS SOFTBALL The girls softball team is another phase of Women's sports at Maranatha. This year softball practices conflicted with basketball as the basketball team went to the C. l. F. play-offs. Softball is the most popular of the girls' sports with the largest number of girls attending the tryouts. As of this deadline, the softball tryouts had not been held and the season had not begun, but judging from last year, Mrs. Diana Fagan, coach, thinks she will have a good team. Coach Fagan says that 13 is her ideal team size, but admits she will take more if talents warrant.
