National Honor Society Holds RIF Book Drive The National Honor Society CNHS is a special group of students who have sown their leadership in school and com- munity activities. NHS was involved in a Rif program this year. This was a book drive which provided books for the sixth graders at Marana Jr. High. Marana's Model UN Delegates Represent Ku Marana High School's Model United Nation delegation was chosen to represent the country of Kuwait. This nation is located northeast of Saudi-Arabia. The yearly session was held at the University of Arizona on Feb. 16th and 17, where the delegate went to represent their country. They stayed at the Plaza Interna- tional on Speedway during the convention and attended sessions and a banquet with their sponsor, Fred Wilmshurst. l. Model UN delegates Suzanne Hill, DeeAnn Davis and Dani Barr, enjoy their dinner at the Model UN convention. 2. Costumes Highlight Days During Spirit W The week of Oct. 30 through Nov. 2 was Spirit Week. Activities varied from dress-down and dress-up to costume and Blue and Gold day. The week ended with class competi- tion for the best decorated truck on the final football game and annual bonfire. Senior efforts throughout the week's events captured the spirit title for them. I. Wade Lewis, Ronnie Tarkington and Loyd Gainnes join in on the fun of costume day. 2, Teresa Del Peschio shows her spirit by dressing up as a robot. 3.
