Girls' Track Attracts Big, Enthusiastic Team The girls' track team started the season with a large group of girls coming out, including returning for their last year. The season began in the early part of March. The girls competed in numerous running events such as the 50 yard dash, relays and long distance runs. They also competed in various field events. I. During practice, Gwen Worth works out for the 440-relay. 2. The guys relax while the girls run their pyramids. 3. Of the thirty-plus members there were sever- al returning athletes that were good competers in the past that hoped to be on top again his year. The completed new track promised to bring better training and better results. l.
