A JV schedule was made up due to the large particiation in the sport. The Coaches had high hopes for a winning season which began with a decisive JV win. l. Returning Lettermen Fill Baseball Line-L Varsity baseball players expected a good year for post- season victories. They had plenty of senior talent and a few promising juniors. Seven of the eight returning members were starters last year. The coaches felt that an improve- ment in the pitching staff would be a big step toward capturing a title. l.
