'I Cross Country Team Faces Tough Runners e., . ,i-jij.,,- -F, ' I, ... p ' f ' A. f,.,'i af Once again Maranas' cross country team found the class AA south division difficult. The team showed a lot of spirit with four lettermen, Keith Woods, Steve Smith, Steve Benitez and Martin Pena returning from last year. The team fought hard but placed sixth in the class AA south divisionals. Running eighth at the divi- sional, team member Martin Pena was the only Marana runner who qualified for state where he placed 39th. Four of the top runners will not be back next year, but Mr. Brady said he feels that next year will have more participants and a bet- ter record. l.
