V-Club Supports Maranefs Athletic Pr The Victory Club of Marana did many productive things to lift spirit and support athletics. Breakfasts for the various Tiger teams were held on several mornings by the V-Club, who also cheered during games to boost team and fan spirit. Spirit chains were sold by the cafeteria during lunch, with different color links for each class. At the end of Spirit Week the class with the longest chain won the competition. Probably the club's biggest event was Mom and Dads' night. The club members honored the parents and coaches of the varsity football players with a special ceremony dur- ing halftime at the last season game. The club also honored parents of other sports members this year as well as helping the mat maids honor the wrestlers' parents. l.
