Small Newspaper Crew Gets Marana Times Out With a small crew of six people the newspaper staff had to work extra hard to get a newspaper published every two weeks. The staff reported on special events and activities that took place during the year. They also had regular features such as Movie Reviews, Sports Spotlight and Council's Corner. Frantic Yearbook Staff Works Around Deadlines In order to get the yearbook out before the year is over. The yearbook staff had to meet a lot of deadlines through- out the year. The staff also had the job of selling advertise- ments to various stores and shops, to drop the price of the book. But, of a staff of thirteen, there were only four returning people from the previous year. This meant a lot of training for the newcomers. 1. Senior Diane Evans works on a division page design. 2. Cindy Criss and Renee Rea sell ads for the yearbook. 3. Cindy Criss, Glenn Groves, Renee Rea, Diane Evans and Mickey Madore pick out pictures forthe yearbook. 4.
