Qlass prophecy The following is an excerpt from the notebooks of that famous pro- fessor of psychiatry, Don Snell. These notes were made during a trip the professor took recently to his old high school haunts at Mapleton. As I look back upon nv recent visit to nv former fellow classmates I find that the years have brought on many changes. Some of these changes have been for the better and some have, well, just changes. You know how it is. Roberta Akers has settled down in Mapleton and is teaching Mr. Kienzle's Social Ec. class at the higm school. Barbara Hunzicker is still trying to pass Social Ee., and she is giving Roberta as much trouble as she gave Mr. Kienzle which is plenty. Joyce Beers has settled in Mapleton and married Willie Wornstaff. Willie has become a great industrial chemist. He is famous as The Sulfuric Acid King. I will never forget how Willie got his start with a few certain experiment in the high school lab. I saw a rather good football game recently. That was where I found Bernetta In-ollinger. She was playing left tackle for the Los Angeles Rams. I might also add that she managed to plug many large holes that were mashed through the line by Notre Dame's star halfback, Lois Pico. Lois has been the outstanctlng player of the Fighting Irish. However, the game ended in a tie. After the game, I went to a show. It starred that successhsl young actress, Jane Pearson. In the show her hair changes color five times which makes the part me plays a natural one. According to a certain physicist of high school days, Vadis Miller is now married to Vern Waldamont. I find that Jack Ashburner is now a successful physicist at the Oakridge Atanic Laboratory. As you know, Jack has just managed to cross a yew tree with a geranium to produce uranium Cyewrapiumj. Qxarilie Davis was famous a few years ago as the first man to land on the moon. He has retired now as the trip caused him to become moonstruck. Pat Holman is now the first woman president of the United States. Her most outstanding achievement is the recent debate with a famous Russian delegate. Pat talked steadily for three hours. When it became the Rnssian's turn to speak, he got up and left the hall, speechless.

'P Skip Mason is seen arommd Mapleton dri1nLng a new Cadillac. He is a. playboy with two million dollars. He got his money playing profession- al baseball for the New York Yankees. Jack Jenkins, known affectionately as O1d Fender Smashern, is now driving jet-'powered cars in the hot-rod races across the country. Keith Ellingson recently became the first man to make an inter- p1a.neta.ry flight. He landed on Liars and was mistaken for the Icing of the Frog Men. He is still there. Sam McCain took over after Keith left and pushed his rocket to the speed of light. Sam always was a fast operator. Geralciine DuVal is becoming famous as a television actress. She is quite popular with the men on the rocket ships who pick up her programs on their meteor warning sets. Alice Netz is still living at Brickervilleg she has stayed faith- fully at home. Lola Cessnun is, I am informed, a salesgirl at Macy's department store. She is evidently doing all right. Least but not last is John Peckham. John is now president of West Point. He has been nicknamed Old Slide Rule by the upperclassmen. Joann Hoyt is the World's Champion Woman Yarestler. She tips the scales at 225 pounds and wrestles under the name of the Mad Mau1er. She puts on some good, if not gruesome bouts. Last of the Senior Class of '52, I find Nancy Loomis, who is a waitress at the Sloppy Choppy Chinese Cafe. She is doing a good job of tal-:ing orders and loading the customers plates, using a barn shovel. V Well, this concludes this atrocious attempt at humor. And, for the sake of a few of the students mentioned herein let us hope that cer- tain parts of this nasty little document fail to hold true. ,X 2 , Mus DMS ,9:,,,,nf
