ROW' I-C. Palker, A. Kuly, C. Nozar. ROW' 1-D. Henley, S. Clunya, .-X. Kuly, NI. Dozer. MADE FRIENDS Hayrides, banquets, and parties are just a few of the activities I look forward to as a member of the Friendship Club. Fm always making new friends. By our various activities, our club successfully accomplishes its purpose of building good character and fellowship among the girls. A lor of the credit for the big turnout at our meetings belongs to the girls who are on the special Program and Social Committees. These girls are chosen at the be- ginning ofthe year by the club. They plan a new and interesting program for the coming meetings. At one of our meetings, which are held twice a month, we had a speaker from Maple Heights Florist who talked to us on various types of corsages. Five lucky girls were the winners of beautiful corsages. Then the time everyone had awaited came, refreshments. YVe ate, laughed, and chatted with one another. One of the most interesting activities of our club was the sponsoring of our annual dance. All the girls take part in decorating the gym. Glittering lights, colorful paintings, and gay music all add a special touch to make our dances worth looking forward to. Last October we had a hayride at Round-up Lake Park. Boy, did we have the fun! There was more hay in our hair and on the ground than there was on the wagons. To warm us up after the ride, we had donuts and hot chocolate made by our parents. We finished the night with dancing to a portable record player. X..- lx.. .,, 'R v. '-i 'iv +6 , ' Left: B. Zaucha, C. Loew, L.
