As the blue clad marchers reach mid field they swing into On Ye Manual. Another instrumental salute and they tmarch smartly from the football field, accompanied by the rhythmic roll of lrufns. Another day-the wail of clarinets, blaring' trumpets and the groan of saxophones issue from behind a partly closed door. A group of girls drive across a playing field in the hard and rough game of speedball, in Which they only hope to come out alive. At the other end of the field masculine shouts indicate a fast game of touch football. Snow clad landscapes bring all games inside. For the girls there is volleyball with its fast serves and returns, and also basketball's demand for accurate timing of shots. As one comes into the boys' gym, he may hear the swishing of basketballs as they cut through the hoop just clipping the strings. As spring and the end of the year roll around, softball holds the interest of both boys and girls. This is a game in which at least one-third of the team plays on the outside of the fence to catch the long flys. In a long room rows of cots stretch along a Wall. Still forms of sleeping girls are visible in the semi-darkness. In yet another room We see different pupils straining in manifold exercises strengthening muscles in arms, legs, and back. This is the corrective class. U . Thirteen lvlllflfl' I?l'111y.9 Buslcffflnlll
