This year's homecoming dance theme song was I want to dance with someone who The homecoming committee worked many hard hours decorating for the dance which was held in the front foyer on The D.J. played an assortment of songs, but the most popular were the slow songs, I wonder why! The dance was a successful end to a long and competitive week. Doesnit Robbie look nice tonight?

Homecoming week for 1987-88 was during the week of October 5-9. It began on Monday with the 3- legged race which was won by the seniors and the big wheel race which was won by the juniors. Tuesday's :ompetition included the egg toss, tug-of-war, the wheel barrel race, and the sack race. The seniors dominated in all the competition except the egg loss which was won by the sopho- nores. On Wednesday the limbo :ontest was won by the sophomores. All who participated and watched the :vents had a great time. RIGHT: Juniors fight for a lst place finish. BELOW: Sue McDaniel 8L Michelle Meyer vatch on while Bridget Hanley makes a great tatch. Allen Getz peddles his life away for the senior class. MHS SHUWS THEIR TALE Do you think Raul can get out of this one? Shake it all baby! Church lady chats with her special guests lil What did you say? Angie Pike has an exclusive interview with M-M-M- Max Headroom. The freshman girls show their talent. The homecoming skits presented by all the classes couldn't have been any better. This year there was no definite theme for the skits, so each class presented a wide variety of talent ranging from the Church Lady,' to the circus. Juniors finished in lst place, followed by the Seniors and then the Sophomores. Spirits were high and it was reflected in all the skits. HOMECOMINGXZI
