Uur Exchange Student Hom Chile Entering Manual last fall under the Amer- ican Field Service Program was Gonzalo Lopez Venzula. Challo as he likes to be called, has spent his year in the United States at the home of Harold Montville and his parents. Challo's good nature and friendliness will long be re- membered by both the faculty and students. Challo does some reference work in the new library Challo relaxes at adopted American home. Peoria JOURNAL STAR Many events occur around the Christmas holidays, Jane Sie- wart, art club member, paints a Christmas scene as little patients of St. Frances Hospital look on. The carnival is always something to lookforward to in the spring. Ron Roos, Guydeen Beckwith, and Rich- ard Frasco in one of the favorite booths, the Hitching Post. ye V. , Z i as 925523 ,Q ,, ,X Seniors Sue Warren, Sue Brown, Kay Scott, Helen Wisher, and Sheila Horn- backer prepare for the senior art show. The Alumni Banquet held in the spring of '62 honored the classes of '13 and '38, At this time Seniors are considered 'Alums' for the first time, Year QF Service, Fun This year has been one of the most eventful, fun and service filled years ever experienced at Manual. The move to the new Manual was the highlight of the year, but We will re- member, too, the plays, dances, assemblies, and other special activities. Signing Colleen I-lill's petition for student council in the spring election are Ron Roos, Butch Kurth, and Barb Gohl.

Senior Hop The Senior Hop this year was held in the foyer at Manual on March 30th. The enter- tainment and food were excellent and every- one had a wonderful time. Dancing to the music of the band are Suzanne Curtis, Gary Zuer- cher, John Davidson, and Betty Koch at our Junior Prom. unior Prom The class of '64 held the junior Prom on May in the Manual cafeteria and our Wonder- ful courtyard. john Davidson was the King and his lovely queen was Betty Koch. The decora- tions carried out the theme of japan with lan- terns, fansiful kites, and pagodas. John crovxms Betty his Queen of the Junior Prom.
