You may be won- dering how we came up with Where else but Mansfield as our theme. Well, it seemed to very easily follow last year's Car- ontawan theme, Where the hell is Mansfield? After finding out where Mansfield is, there are many reasons to say, Where else but Mansfield?' Some of these are . . . the fresh, clean air, the mountains and trees -- nature can be found all around, even in a dorm room, given the room is sunny and someone with a green thumb lives there. ll I Quiet places to think, study, or just rest are easily accessible, and . . . l q. He trudges, unknown while popular, friendly yet distant Searching for faith immersed in weakness, The lonely one is at home wherever he is. He alone knows the joys, sorrows, and revelations of his path. The lonely one will venture to bring out the concerns Otherwise hidden by his companions, Given only at the greatest of moments. He laments and celebrates without them, Confiding in his pen and paper, Assured of their loyalty. Looking over others as a father, Leading them to where they might see, Meaning no harm, arousing indifference, Reaching but never touching anything except Barricaded people, wanting no part of him, He treads without them, tired of their Hoaxes.
