It is a great privilege to be President of Mansfield State College. Mrs. Bryan and I are grateful for the opportunity to work with the members of the Board of Trustees, faculty, and students in our mutual desire to make Mansfield a highly respected institution of higher learning in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We appreciate the friendly attitude of the students. It is always a pleasure to associate with them in their many and varied activities. It is encouraging to know that our students are making a concerted effort to increase scholarship at our College. This will pay great dividends for the individual student and the institution in years to come. Mrs. Bryan and I enjoy the professional and social contacts we have with all the employees of the College. The business-like way in which the official Board members approach their responsibilities give assurance of stability within the entire institution. All of us, students, faculty members and administration, appreciate the support we receive from each member of the Board of Trustees. And last but not least, Mrs. Bryan and I are delighted with the wonderful response of the c ommunity toward the College. Uur association with the Bor- ough officials and many fine citizens give us a sense of pride in our efforts to cooperate with each other. ' ul uJ ' 1 . II
