The Year Was: Eighty-Two A collection of pictures from the past of the senior class members set in a unique design. Class Meetings Here Mr. McLean talks to the seventh grade at one of their class meetings. Pep Rallies 2 The scene is one of the many pep rallies we had this year. The seventh graders are getting their first try at “Battle Cry”. Here the senior class members are working very hard to write out their orders for their announcements. It’s a tough job to pick out what you want! The juniors selected their class rings this year. Here are a few of them trying to decide on which one they like best. Tough Choice! 3 The Year That Was: NCA Accreditation Mr. Allen is visiting with members of the North Central Association of Secondary Schools (NCA) Committee. Mr. John Gill. Supervisor State Department of Education was chairman of the NCA Committee. The NCA Committee, who recommended that Mansfield High School be admitted to the NCA. was composed of administrators and teachers from other Arkansas Schools and members of the State Department of Education. The committee reviewed the work of the Mansfield teachers in the study. The committee spent much time reviewing and studying reports. After reviewing reports the committee made recommendations for pro- gram improvements. 4 SENIORS Senior Class of 1982 Motto: Remember yesterday, dream for tomorrow, but live for today.
