For the Mansfield girls this was something new. This being our first year for volleyball we didn't have a bad season. We had lots of hustle, our strength came from our strong serving. Teamwork was also one of our strong points. One of our weaknesses was our lack of experi- ence, we had to play teams with two or three years experience. We feel that with a little ex- perience we can become better. Top Row: Coach D. Slankard, IOC. Henson, 12 L. Feimster, 31 L. Harp, 15 K. Collins, 24 L. Sibary, 13 B. Henson, 34S. Efurd, 33 D. Our lives will lead us in various paths, and our hopes will urge us to try for better things. It will be thoughts and strength of Mansfield High School which will remain as our compass in the demanding world that awaits us. In quiet times when we are alone with the thoughts of the past, let them be happy thoughts . . . thoughts of the good times we all shared . . . and let us be proud of the we were — and the way we are. Tigers forever. Editor Connie Moore 156 157
