It is currently filled with all senior boys. Mr. Blanton, junior high math teacher for the first semester, is shown with some of the students he teaches. ‘6n e 3ine Arts of Writing Speaking The journalism class works in class to accomplish many things: to write articles, to read from the text book, to discuss newspapers and how they are run, to work on the annual, and to do anything else that concerns writing or journalism. Journalism work cannot always be done in a classroom. Here journalism students work in the office typing, getting pictures ready for thr annual, and running odd jobs that must be done. Mrs. Holbrook, speech arts teacher, stands in front of the speech class giving instructions to the class. This class takes notes, does the senior play, and has parts in all types of programs and assemblies. A required part of the speech work is getting up in front of the class to give a speech that you have thought up and prepared. Here Jan Quick is shown delivering a speech that she has prepared, to the students in the class.
