A yearbook is a special memory that one often treasures for many years after graduation. That's why the '82-83 yearbook staff worked especially hard to bring this book of memories to you. Meeting deadlines, taking pictures, mir and writing were just a part of the hard work put into this book. A special thanks goes to Editor Sue Moore, photographers, copy writers, K lay out designers, ad purchasers, and K ,A Q Sponsor Paula Scott, for making this iiit, fs, ,83 yearbook posslble' Editor Sue helps Connie write captions. The 1982-83 newspaper staff experienced several changes during the year. The name of the paper was changed to The Purple and Gold Rush, three different types of layout were used, and instead of having only two editors, the Rush staff had five editors. The editors received excellent cooperation from the rather large staff and this helped the entire staff to meet each deadline. The Pep Club's main function is promoting school spirit during the football season. It is in charge of Angel week during homecoming, all hall decorations and generating lots of noise at all games. This year's group numbering over 50, was led by Ginger Ratzlaff, president and Stephanie Phillippe, Vice President. Plus all the other great pep club's supporters. k .
