Jo Gill and Jean Martin were our honor students that year Jean was valedlctorlan and Jo was salutorlan wlth Renee Gregg coming in for third place, In our Sophomore year we shocked everyone by winning the Carnival Queen race. Everyone said lt was Jean Martin s big mouth at the Bingo Booth, Jo Gill won the most honors of our class by winning the all around activity award and making the honor roll. Lenore Flinchum won the Home Economics award and Jean Martin the Mathematics medal It was hard to find time for school during our Junior year One of the first things to take our time and attention was our annual carnival program, The musical comedy hit brought a packed house in its one big night performance. Several juniors partici pated in this program with leading roles. Our own class play, Pigtails, proved to be quite a hit. Jo Gill was the leading lady as P1gta1ls . We pulled a fast one on the seniors 'by winning the annual queen race. Bethann Butler was our candidate for queen Our honor students that year was Jo Gill and Jean Martin Honor Roll, Music medal Jo Gill, and Band medal Jean Martin. The Junior Senior banquet was the grand finale We were taken back to the gay-nineties for an evening rollcklng laughter and fun. Once again we come back from past memories to pleasant future, We are not sad that we are leaving, but glad that we have had the training to prepare us for a would of business and adventure, Q A ,ev .1 ' u .. - - . .
