One of the finest honors that come to high school students is to be selected as Girls' State and Boys' State representatives. Last year Bonnie Karlowski and Betty Smischny were chosen to go to Girls' State, while Don Smith, John Richmond, Roger Burkepile, Ed Gardner and Sterling Penman were Boys' Staters, Another annual honor is to be named D, A,R. Good Citizen, The Seniors chose Betty Smischny, Mary Ann Conn and Peggy Ramer as their candidates, Mary Ann was designated as Good Citizen by faculty vote,
