We, the members of the class of 1983, are dedicating our yearbook to a man who has become a very important part of Manchester High School. Though at times we may not have shown our feelings in the right way, we have always appreciated his concern for our well-being. From lunchroom duty to the basketball court he was more than just an administrator. In a short time he gained the respect of the faculty, the students and the community. Mr. Shrock, this dedication is our way to thank you for everything; not only your gui dance but also your love. We will always remember your stern words and your caring smile. There will always be a very special place in our hearts for you. Although the nicknames we have given you have changed from year to year, one true name will remain forever — Friend. The 1983 Anchor is dedicated to Mr. Gerald Schrock. 2
