Highland Heather Highlights Homecoming Play The Kenapocomoco Players brought a bit of Scotland to Cordier Auditorium with the Homecoming presentation of BRIGADOON. The Lerner-Loewe musical drama of love, mystery and a bit of magic came to life October 20 and 21 with talented actors, dancers and musicians, creative sets, and au- thentic touches such as real Scottish costumes, Scottish accents and a bag- piper. The efforts of over forty cast mem- bers, twenty musicians and an equally large production staff combined to produce BRIGADOON. Scott Strode contributed his talents as director, with musical direction and conducting by James Baldwin. Carol McAmis was associate musical director and Larry Life was choreographer. The Scottish accents were painstakingly coached by Mary Rhynard. BRIGADOON attracted an audience from the North Manchest- er community as well as from campus, and proved to be a very popular pro- duction. 24 Top: Barry Coe, Gladden Gross, Randy Clinker and Steve Viehweg perform a Scottish sword dance. Bottom: Jeff (John Morris) is not at all convinced by Tommy ' s (Bill White) reassurances that they aren ' t lost.
