The team record was 4 wins and 6 losses in regular season matches, while the team placed 6th in the HBCC , However, Coach Weller has expressed that the season could have been better had the scheduling been arranged more in accordance tg the Spring Break. Coach Weller also feels more confident towards the next season of spring tennis in ' 76, and for the future as well. 21

SPARTAN HILL IS REPLACED The destruction of Spartan Hill caught much of the campus community by surprise. Manchester students helped build these bleachers during the De- pression years. But during recent years the bleachers, due to cracking and shifting cement were considered unsafe, and are now replaced by metal bleachers. The new bleachers were dedicated at Manchester ' s first home football game of the 1975 sea- son. 20

jUggj H ' H H SOFTBALL ' 75 Smaltzie, another Joe Morgan? The 1975 softball team fell just short of a winning season last spring, but all the con- tests were close. The team finished with a 2-3 record; the only losing record for the Women ' s sports. There were only three seniors on the ' 75 team, so the women are looking forward to a great season in ' 76.
