Breakaway Breakaway 1973 was centered around a Sadie Hawkins Celebra- tion with tlie women of IVIanchester catching a nnan or two for the big events. Ikenberry men were sold to the highest bidder Tuesday night, and Thurs- day was the Powder Puff football game. Dorm Parties brought the men and women together Friday, and Saturday was the big Sadie Hawkins Dance. A spirited performance. Fun for everyone. Chomp, slurp, snarf. Oh, boy! 28

Hike! Lazy Day Camp Mack Day Friday, September 21, was the day set for the traditional campus escape to the non- academic environment of Camp Mack. Community Coun- cil sponsored the event and offered boating, swimming, volleyball, football, and plenty of open space for enjoying nature. In the late afternoon, the band FJSE presented a concert interspersed with Manchester College talent. A bonfire ended the day with roasted marshmallows and hot dogs. Deep in Thought Delight!! 27
