JOURNALISM Journalism provides an opportunity for students to learn publication techniques as these people are responsible for the yearbook. Working with layouts, learning to crop pictures, and writing copy are intrical components that all Journalism students become familiar with. Class members learn to work together as a team, realizing that every section is dependent on the work provided by each class member. Working with such a talented group of creative individuals is an extremely rewarding experience. Their tireless efforts are responsible for creating a yearbook filled with memories for all Manassas Park students to enjoy for many years to come. Top: The pressures of meeting a deadline. Bottom left: Alex Blackwell, Hunter Publishing Representative, giving the staff pointers on yearbook publications. Bottom right: Nothing will stop Helen from finishing her layout!
