mr. moyers guides mphs to great heights Mr. Moyers tackles his paperwork. Mr. Moyer talks to students ' on Parent Back to School Night. The 1 978-79 school year has been a most rewarding one for Manassas Park High School, its students, and the community it serves. There have been notable achievements in the areas of academic education, vocational education, athletics, and student activities. It has been especially rewarding for me to have seen many young men and women grow toward a fuller realization and acceptance of their respondibilities to themselves and to the society, and begin to develop the characteristics that will enable them to lead more productive, satisfying lives. I want to express my appreciation to those students who have given their time, talents and energies to make Manassas Park High School a better place in which to live, work, and enjoy the various activities school life provides. Any school, to be successful, must have student leaders, and this is particularly true to our relatively young school. I extend to you my warmest personal wishes for future prosperity and happiness.

Mr. Niles helped Seniors plan their futures — be it college or work. She put her all into everything she did. Ms. Martz had he own style of helping. She answered any questions one might have had. She gathered materials for students so they could learn about different colleges. She also took care of rescheduling. Both of these young women worked together to create an understanding between faculty and students. 10
