Profit, S. Huffman, K. Kraushaar, D. Mulligan, K. Haigh, R. Degoosh, Mrs. Staunton, 4th Row: R. Lord, C. Bland, V. Smith, J. Dicus, M. Bast. The purpose of the Foreign Language Club was to help students understand foreign customs and languages. The club did various projects to learn while also having fun. Miss Bobrosky and Mrs. Staunton were the sponsors of the club. The officers were: Program Coordinator — Debby Cox, Treasurer — Robin Heltibridle, Secretary — Suzanne Kuznear, Vice President — Kathy Clare, and President — Kathy Hill. The Foreign Language Club took a fun and eventful field trip to Washington. They also went to a French and Spanish Restaurant. To have been a member of the Foreign Language Club a person must have had at least one year of a foreign language. Curry The 1978-79 school year ' s SCA tried to promote activities for the school, student body, and the community. This goal was carried out by sponsors Mrs. Stutzman and Mrs. Huffman and President — Donna Lee. The other officers were; First Vice President — Kenny Kirk, Second Vice President — Betty Hooker, Secretary — Diana Duvall, Treasurer — Kathy Curry, and Public Relations officers — Eddie Steele and Debbie Weibel. Officers were elected by the student body; homeroom representatives were selected by homeroom members. The projects that the SCA planned were a Christmas Dance, Valentine ' s Dance, and car washes. ict and vica prepare students for world of work R. Dillinger, R. Pugh, V. Cooper, J. Reese, P. Prusaitis, and R. Ferguson. Industrial Cooperative Training (ICT) prepares students for the World of Work. ICT permits a student to choose employment from a variety of jobs. ICT strives to have the student develop a skill or trade which will give him or her the ability to earn a good livelihood upon graduation from high school. Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA) gives a student an opportunity to explore areas and issues which concern him. Together VICA members work to build a better school, community, and nation. VICA had four fund raising activities. They consisted of: a candy booth, a Thanksgiving pie, a porcelain sale, and a craft bazaar. Mr. Morris, Mr. Land, P. Phipps, T. LaRochelle, B. Brown, B.
