ciation put out a new Ci..-X. handhook which was sold to the incoming students. ln order to make it possihle for every student to he alwle to attend meetings. the Student Council inaugurated open meetings. They conducted a poll to find out student sentment regarding an "act of reverence" in our high school and sent a summary of this to the Heard of liducation. They also discussed and worked on the possibilities of an honor system at Nl.H.S. To raise money for a new school Hag the Coun- cil sponsored a Boy-Girl haskethall game, and through the Foster Parents' plan a French girl was adopted for one year. The C..-X. also sent 5 CARE packages overseas and a S30 educational kit to Korea. enior enafe hlllost potent, grave. and reverent signinrs . The success or failure ofa senior class rests largely on the shoulders of the Senior Senate. Two sena- tors are elected from each senior home room, and they meet with the class officers and class advisors, Mrs. Iulie Gleason and Mr. Iohn L. Sullivan.
