ENGINEERS' CLUB
Forum Club meetings this year were scenes ot
sizzling discussions and debates, very ably handled
by Jim Fowler, president and moderator, Topics
discussed included UMT, communism, the Marshall
Plan, US-USSR relations, and the coming Presi-
dential election. Several members, including Jim
Fowler, vice-president Sigrid Nordwall and secre-
tary, l"lerb Levin, participated in torums at other
schools. The Forum Club, sponsored by Mr, Ludwig,
organized a torum itselt, inviting schools trom all

and to become tamiliar with boolcs are the aims ot
the Library Club. The members also clipped newsf
paper articles about tormer M. l-l. S. students tor
the school scrapboolc.
A radar expert, iet propulsion, diesel and gasoe
line motors. and a ham-radio set operated trom
school by Ed Brauner and Bob Engelbardt pro-
vided interesting programs tor this year's Engineers'
Club.
