Do you need advice on any personal prob Iems7 Individual conferences with Miss Helene Moore, Miss Edna E Turkmgton and Mr Chester A Sanhlli will help you in answering these problems Tests administered by Miss Arlme J Walton Director of Testing help to guide the student to discover what his inter ests are and for what field he is best suited Sophomores, under the supervision of Miss Walton take an IQ test in the fall to deter mme their ability to learn and this year all sophomore English classes were given special diagnostic reading tests Each year the Jun lors take a series of battery tests sponsored by Boston University and administered by Mr Charles M Sparkes These tests are di vided into six parts reading comprehension vocabulary problem solving spatial rela tions, and clerical work The Senior Class Master, Mr Robert W Perry head of the Science Department Junior Class Master Mr F Champlin Webster Master in Charge of Tardiness and head of the Latin Depart ment and Sophomore Class Master M Clarke R Brookes a member of the History Department make certain the students dont become problems themselves by keeping them in line ff' ff SENIOR CLASS MASTER and Head of the Science Department Mr Robert W Perry has charge of the supplies of the school and is administrator of boys absences MR WILLIAM MCCARTHY of Boston University poses with Clarke R Brookes Dr Helene Moore and M Chester W Santilln Mr McCarthy gave almost 600 Juniors the BU Battery Tests on October 2 and 3 Costing two dollars each the tests lasted five hours and reflected the abilities of the students 0000000 s ,lf .fl MR CHESTER W SANTILLI Boys Guidance Counselor discusses the results of the B U Battery Tests with Fred Barnsteln Mr Sontllll not only holds Individual conferences with the boys for the BU Battery Tests but also does the same wtth those boys having problems concerning their future colleges or careers 29 . , .
