WE WON!!! Celebrating our Thanksgiving victory over Medford, students relax after rushing to the early Now, Nedlam, you've seen what events MHS students usually crowd into six school hours between 7:45 and 1:45 P.M. No, that is definitely not the end of our day, rather it is the beginning of a new burst of busy, busy activity. Malden High, like many other high schools, has its share of music groups, language clubs, service organizations, club projects, and class activities. You may not have realized it yet, but Malden High is a different school. lt is different because of the spirit and determination with which the students work toward their goals. You can sense this during a senior play rehearsal lasting long into the night. You can experi- ence the pride of the school in the melodies of the Choral Art Society. The French, Latin, German, and English Honor Societies strive to learn more than is taught in the class- rooms through preparation for, and partici- pation in, monthly meetings. As soon as a class activity approaches, students are up in arms choosing a suitable theme, arguing about proper presentation of publicity, and making final arrangements for decorations. We all seek to better the standing of the school for our fellow classmates, parents, teachers, and members of the community. morning game, Here, trophies from the Golden Tornado Club and the Malden Evening News were awarded.
