FO Calm down Nedlam old boy' Thats only our PA System' It wont bite' Every morning our headmaster wakes up the school with his announcements followed by publicity about any and all activities Listen' Theres the bell' Watch out as the classroom doors open Ned lam for this is one of the most confused forty mmutes youll ever witness forty minutes of blowing trumpets swinging saxophones and preaching in the band room of desert boots and black flats with rainbow colored tights flying up five flights of stairs to the Art Room to make decorations and then back down again for a class meeting in the Jenkins forty mmutes of mvlgorat ing calisthenics which are a part of the famed S period gym and often forty minutes in the form of an informative and entertaining assembly on anything from liquid oxygen to Choral Art and it is sometimes forty minutes of finishing up last nights history assignment With this as a preliminary pep up we 'l70O M H S scholars begun our day of learmng Identifying the scap ula from the platella conlugatmg French verbs bandag ing that accidental fracture and adding long columns of figures are all a part of our studies Here Nedlam we select our own curriculum according to our future plans and with the knowledge and guidance of our teachers and an occasional burning of the midnight oil we are prepared to face our community as worthwhile citizens and the world as better Americans PUSH THIS BUTTON TO REPEAT! exclaims Joyce Upham to Bev- erly Bumstead over an adding machine.
